Letter: Poor leadership

Editor: In response to a letter last week against Sen. Barack Obama, the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are not yet in Obama's equation that I know of.

On the other hand, can anyone be worse than Donald Rumsfeld as secretary of defense or Vice President Dick Cheney, former CEO of Halliburton, who has enriched this corporation for services they have not provided in Iraq and at our soldiers' expense?

I respect Sen. John McCain's heroic war record and it would seem the good Americans would also respect Sen. John Kerry's heroic war record. Does a good American respect only those heroes who are conservative Republicans?

It took America about four years to defeat our enemies during World War II. In five years, we have not won the war in Iraq. More importantly, this president can't seem to capture or defeat Osama bin Laden. Why? What is wrong with his leadership?
