Merced police reported the arrest of three teenage boys this weekend on suspicion of stealing an Xbox video game console and other items.
Merced police Cmdr. Floyd Higdon said the console was stolen from an apartment on the 3100 block of Meadows Avenue on Sunday.
The suspects are 13, 14, and 15 years old. Police said the suspects were arrested after they received a tip about the crime.
The juveniles were booked into Merced County Juvenile Hall. The 15-year-old boy was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property and resisting or delaying a peace officer in his duties (both of which are misdemeanors) and violation of juvenile probation.
The 14-year-old juvenile was booked on suspicion of residential burglary and possession of stolen property (both felonies) and violation of juvenile probation.
The 13-year-old juvenile was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property, resisting or delaying a peace officer in his duties, and entering a building without consent of the owner (all misdemeanors) and violation of juvenile probation.
